The University Orchard Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship, where candidates will be required to write an essay discussing their involvement within their communities, or their impact while on-campus at Salisbury University. The mission of the scholarship is to partner with Salisbury University to create opportunities for Salisbury University students that come from Lower Eastern Shore communities. Each student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and at least two semesters remaining until the completion of their degree program.

Industry expert joins operations as head of client services

Apartment complex rising at Fifth and Peabody in SoBro to include large common space and performance stage

TENNESSEE--(TENNESSEAN)--A late summer opening is targeted for the 328-unit Olmsted Nashville apartment community that's rising on 1.89 acres at the corner of Fifth Avenue South and Peabody Street in the area south of Broadway.

The project at 501 Fifth Ave. S. is the first in Nashville for Atlanta-based developer CF Real Estate Services, whose partner in Olmsted Nashville is Charlotte, N.C.-based consultant Llewellyn Development with The Carlyle Group as an equity partner. It is expected to further activate the SoBro area just south of Korean Veterans Boulevard.

Pre-leasing is expected to start in late spring for apartments at Olmsted Nashville.

"Our ultimate goal is for this place to have a soul and for our residents to be proud to call Olmsted home," said Brett Oliver, director of Development at CF Real Estate Services. The large common space at the Olmsted Nashville complex will include a performance stage. Olmsted Nashville will offer studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments. Size of the units will range from the smallest 434 square foot studios with the largest two-bedroom apartments each 1,382 square feet.

Amenities will include an outdoor pool, fitness center, dog spa and a top-floor leasing office and roof lounge that will also be an event space with views of downtown Nashville.

Cambridge Swinerton Builders is general contractor for the Olmsted Nashville project.

Cf real estate services expands week of service

CF expands their corporate social responsibility and now offers National Week of Service programs in both spring and fall.

Atlanta –4/21/17 CF Real Estate Services, a multifamily real estate company, is significantly expanding its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. The organization kicked off its outreach last fall with a National Week of Service. Dozens of associates from every part of the company donated to, and volunteered with, nonprofits that help feed the hungry, help children, rescue pets, provide quality housing and more.

Now the privately-owned company is organizing two weeks of service each year – one in the spring and one in the fall.

“We were blown away by the participation last year,” says Week of Service organizer Alan Walsh, CF’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. “Now we want to raise the bar, expand our horizons and help even more people.”

The Spring Week of Service will reach at least 40 nonprofits in 25 cities in 10 states. The efforts kicked off this week in Texas, with events at the Dallas Animal Shelter, as well as a senior center and food bank in Conroe. The week of April 23 expands the efforts across nine other states including Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. Beneficiaries of the efforts include organizations that help the homeless and hungry, survivors of domestic abuse, seriously ill and needy children, the environment, domesticated animals and wildlife, and other causes.

In addition, CF provides all associates 4 hours of paid service per month to volunteer at a charity of their choice.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Campus First Student Living, a student housing management company, has announced they will pursue developing phase II of University Village at Slippery Rock. Located one-eighth of a mile from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock PA, the second phase of the existing community will consist of 5 buildings totaling 44 units and 152 beds. The units will consist of two-bedroom, two-bathrooms, three-bedroom, three-bathroom and fourbedroom, four-bathroom units. All units will be equipped with stainless steel high efficiency appliances, new furniture packages, granite counter tops and other luxury apartment features. Campus First expects to break ground by June 2018.

Columbia, S.C. — Campus First Student Living and CF Real Estate Services LLC have formed a joint venture with a private commingled fund to purchase Club at Carolina Stadium, a 486-bed student housing property situated less than one mile from the main campus of the University of South Carolina in Columbia.

The community is located adjacent to the Congaree River and across from the university’s new ballpark. Campus First will manage the property, and will be overseeing a $2.7 million renovation and rebranding of Club at Carolina Stadium, which will be renamed Rivers Edge at Carolina Stadium.

The renovations will include a new clubhouse with a fitness center, private and shared study lounges, gaming area, café and a deck overlooking the swimming pool and terrace area. Other improvements will include a new outdoor kitchen, renovated dog park with dog washing station, two fire pit areas, enhanced landscaping, new signage, kayaks and canoes for residents and a new shuttle bus and electric bikes for students to get to class.

The overhaul will also include upgraded internet and cable packages, as well as the addition of VIP premium suites that will include gray faux-wood floors, painted interiors and renovated kitchens with subway tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, new countertops and kitchen hardware. The name of the seller and sale price were undisclosed. The ARA Newmark Student Housing Group, led by Executive Managing Director Ryan Lang, brokered the transaction.
