chris feeley, president

Over his 30-year career in commercial and multi- family real estate, Mr. Feeley has acquired, managed, underwritten, developed, invested in, or was the lender on more than $6 billion of commercial and multifamily properties, primarily located along the East Coast and Southwestern U.S.

Prior to becoming Principal of Campus First Student Housing, Mr. Feeley was the Managing Partner and Principal of MVHP (formerly OCG, LLC) for 7 years, acquiring over $1 billion of multifamily real estate. In addition, Mr. Feeley has held positions with such prestigious institutions as Legg Mason Real Estate (now NorthMarq Capital), GE Capital Corporation (now Bank of America), and Paine Webber Mortgage Finance.

Mr. Feeley also has prior experience as a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. Senate Committee on Governmental affairs (for Senator William Roth of Delaware), and the Governor of the State of Delaware (Gov. Michael Castle), Mr. Feeley is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and the Pension Real Estate Associations (“PREA”).

jinger lane, senior vice president

Ms. Lane joined Campus1st in 2015 and is responsible for Campus1st’s daily property management operations and processes. She has over 21 years’ experience in the multi- family industry including student, senior, affordable and conventional housing for both REITSs and private ownership. Before joining Campus1st Jinger held the position of Director of Operations and Asset Management for Atlantic Housing and oversaw the property management for all assets within the organization and its partnerships. Prior to that she served as Director of Real Estate for Greystar’s Student Housing division as well as conventional markets in the Southeast. She began her career in the industry with Metric Property Management where she oversaw multiple properties in the 7 years there with various roles within the organization. She then joined First Worthing Company as a Student Housing Regional Director where she oversaw operations and performance of both existing assets and all new developments.

Jinger has specialized in lease ups and new construction in student and affordable property types, as well as repositioning existing assets to maximize financial performance. Jinger is an active member of the Texas Apartment Association and is currently seeking her CPM certification from IREM.

anthony magnelli, vice president student housing | business development

Over his thirteen-year career in multifamily property management, Mr. Magnelli has been responsible for overseeing over $500 million in multifamily assets (both student housing and market rate apartments).

While serving as Principal and Director of Asset and Property Management at MultiVersity Housing Partners he provided close asset and property management to a portfolio of student housing properties in five different markets. Mr. Magnelli was also responsible for acquisitions. During his time with MVHP he underwrote deals, secured equity, toured sites and worked with all of the major brokerage firms.

Mr. Magnelli spent 4 years as a Sr. Regional Manager of the Preiss Company, overseeing property management for 7 + student properties located throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. These properties have a total asset value of $400 million. In addition, Mr. Magnelli oversaw and managed the renovation of most of these properties. Average occupancy of his property portfolio averaged 98%+, delinquency at an average of under 1.5%, and NOI ranked at the top of the overall portfolio.

Mr. Magnelli has extensive expertise in budgeting, due diligence/property takeovers, acquisitions, training, revenue management, leasing, marketing, and renovation management and oversight.Under his new role with Campus 1st, Mr. Magnelli will be responsible for new business growth and acquisitions while also providing operational support.

leonard wright, vice president

Over his 9-year career in multifamily property management, Mr. Wright has been responsible for overseeing $400 to $600 million in multifamily assets (primarily student housing properties). Mr. Wright has spent the last 2 years as a Vice President/Senior Regional Manager of a National Student Housing Company, overseeing asset and property management for 12 student properties located throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. Within his previous management company, Mr. Wright won several leadership awards and had a reputation for taking on troubled assets and repositioning them for success. Mr. Wright started as a Business Manager and was quickly promoted over the last 9 years. Average occupancy of his portfolio averaged 96%+, delinquency at an average of under 1.5% and NOI ranked at the top of the overall portfolio.

Mr. Wright highly proficient in budgeting, due diligence/acquisition, training, revenue management, leasing, marketing and renovation management. Along with Mr. Magnelli, Mr. Wright created the training program for a majority of the property management guidelines for their previous company. Mr. Wright is an Executive Board Member for the Pennsylvania Apartment Association - West. Mr. Wright graduated with a BS from Slippery Rock University (PA).

jennifer sokoloff, regional manager

Over her 10 year career in the student housing industry, Jen has been responsible for managing a large student housing property in a saturated market with $10M in revenue the last 2 years. She has traveled within recent companies to train management in leasing and marketing and assist with social media and marketing campaigns at troubled assets. Jen received Manager of the Year Award out of over 40+ people with Preiss Company during her 1st year as a Property Manager and received MVP recognition. She has expertise in Leasing, Marketing, overseeing property financials/budgeting, and was responsible for staffing and motivating employees to produce record-breaking results in leasing and income.

With her over site she has mentored many in the industry into management roles and helped them grow their careers.

Jen is one the most energized and dynamic people in the student housing industry. She has bold ideas and is not afraid to think outside the box.

In her new role, she will be Regional Manger at Campus First and will assist with due diligence projects and takeovers. Jen will oversee six student housing properties with over 3500 beds.

john jackson, regional marketing manager

Over his 3+ year career in the industry, John has successfully launched and executed award-winning marketing campaigns, digital targeting, rebranding, and social media projects in over 8 different markets. Most recently an Area Marketing Manager in the Austin area he was responsible for all branding, traffic generation, social media, co-vending partnerships and analyzing market trends. John has a reputation for not only piecing together innovative and creative marketing ideas but executing. This combined with his entrepreneurial spirit has helped him earn a name for himself in the industry as THE marketing guru.

Overseeing all things marketing for more than 5,000 beds, he has been successful in new lease-ups and restabilization projects. John has received multiple marketing and leadership awards such as best social media, best use of video, and company MVP. Recently John authored a Digital Marketing project selected by the NAA for the 2017 Student Housing Conference in Chicago.

In his current role, John will be overseeing all marketing, programming and branding for the student housing portfolio and Campus First Student Living as a whole.
